Spring Break Day Camp
Escape Room Makers Camp
Kids ages 8–12 are invited to a hands‑on, creativity‑packed Escape Room Makers Camp!
Over four mornings, campers learn how real escape rooms are built as they explore puzzle types, puzzle flow, set design, electronics, and lock mechanics.
Using all provided materials, each team will design and build its own fully playable 10–15-minute escape room, then run it for others on the final day.

What Kids Will Do
Learn codes, ciphers, and puzzle‑building techniques
Practice puzzle flow and game design
Explore set design and simple electronics
Use real locks, boxes, and props
Build a 10–15-minute themed escape room
Showcase their finished escape room on the final day

Upside Down Puzzle Competition
Team Guidelines
• Teams may consist of 1–4 players.
• Entry fee is $40 per team.
• Each team must register with a team name (bonus points for Stranger Things references).
Competition Format
• Each team will receive a 500-piece Stranger Things–themed puzzle.
• All puzzles are identical to ensure fairness.
• The competition begins with a countdown and ends when the first team completes their puzzle.
• A judge will verify completion (no missing or incorrectly placed pieces).
• The fastest team to finish wins the grand prize.
Puzzle Rules
• No outside tools allowed.
• Only registered team members may touch the puzzle.
Costume Contest
• Teams are encouraged to dress in Stranger Things themed costumes.
• Best Costume Prize awarded after puzzle competition.
Eggo Waffle Bar
• An Eggo Waffle Bar will be available throughout the event.
• Teams may snack during the competition, but puzzle progress must continue at the table.
• Please enjoy responsibly—sticky syrup fingers and puzzle pieces don’t mix!
